Dyretesting: Yay or Nay for Elemis

Et merke kanskje ukjent for mange, men så vidt jeg vet er dette merket trygt. De har hud- og kroppsprodukter. Om dette merket finnes i Norge aner jeg ikke, men Feelunique fører det.
Her er svaret jeg fikk av dem:
I can confirm that Elemis does not test, or condone the testing of cosmetics on animals.
- We use the most natural ingredients possible as well as ancient proven formulae in all our products, therefore eliminating the need to test on animals
- To ensure that our products are effective and completely safe to use, we test them all on our own staff and other human volunteers
- We do not ask our contractors perform animal tests on our behalf
- We support the use and development of alternatives to animal testing
Some ingredients such as Coconut or Palm Oil derived detergents or surfactants, will have undergone animal testing in the past. This is beyond our control but we can and do advocate alternative test methods to suppliers. Our position in this respect is no different to other cruelty free companies.
We strongly oppose the view that it is acceptable to use ingredients as long as they were tested 3 or 5 Years ago. For us this would be hypocritical. It may lead to inaction, apathy, and the failure to introduce better humane test methods. It could lead to dated products not as environmentally sensitive as they could be.
It makes no difference to us if; the test was 1 year or 20 years ago. We wish to see the use of alternative tests introduced as quickly as possible and an end to animal test methods.

De har produktene i Norge også, en hudpleier jeg har vært hos førte merket. Hun sa at produktene kunne brukes av veganere.

celina middelfart er vel den norske importøren av dette merket. finnes i salongene som hun eier (husker ikke navn) og på farrisbad

Jeg prøver å sette meg inn i dette med bra hudpleie, men jeg er litt usikker på hvilke merke jeg skal velge. Det står mellom Elemis og Decleor. Jeg har fuktfattig kombinasjonhud, sliter med kviser, og røde merker/”arr” etter kviser. Hva synes du? VÆR SÅ SNILL, HJELP MEG!
