Dior har blitt dyrevennlig?

Flere har kommentert at Dior nå visstnok er dyrevennlig. Jeg satte assistensen min Marita (du kan tro jeg elsker å skrive den setningen) på saken og hun skrev dette:
Dessverre er Christian Dior kjøpt opp av LVMH, som og eier merker som Guerlain, Givenchy og Benefit og LVMH driver en mer tvilsom dyretestingpolitikk. Men Dior var godkjent av PETA før da, helt til de ble kjøpt opp.
In the past, Christian Dior was included on PETA’s list of companies that do not test on animals. Unfortunately, Christian Dior had to be removed from the list after it was acquired by LVMH, a company with a questionable animal-testing policy. Similarly, LVMH-controlled brands Guerlain, Givenchy, and Benefit are also not included on our list.
Så beklager mennesker, Dior er fortsatt NAY!

Det er vel logisk at Benefit også ryker ut da, om LVMH er grunnen til at Dior ikke er med på PETAs liste over selskap som ikke tester på dyr.

Men sånn i utg.pkt. så endres vel ikke ingrediensene i produktene seg (altså “oppskriften” til hvert enkelt produkt) bare fordi firmaene er kjøpt opp av et nytt selskap? Eller…?

Thank you for your inquiry regarding this very important issue.
Benefit Cosmetics does not perform or allow animal testing on bulk or finished products. In addition , Benefit Cosmetics does not request that its product manufacturers test on animals.
However, we do not make any claims to be vegan. We try to formulate all products without animal derived materials–however, since there may be elements or trace elements of animal derived materials somwhere in the chain of materials used, we cannot say that our products do not contain any animal derived ingredients/materials, as we cannot guarantee this 100% throughout all products as a blanket statement.
In conformity with the European rules, tests in ingredients are not done on animals when other methods exists to ensure the safety of those ingredients. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Det betyr vel med andre ord at de faktisk tester på dyr når andre metoder for testing ikke finnes. Det blir vel NAY til Benefit da?
